Vision
in Context
A Living Evolution of Land, Legacy, and Learning
Bodha Gardens is the culmination of over two decades of regenerative work, land stewardship, and quiet innovation by founders Rob and Geri Brown. From tropical forestry and organic spice farming to immersive education and biodiversity preservation, their journey reflects a belief that nature is not only a resource — it’s a teacher, a collaborator, and a path to a more connected life.
Here, visitors don’t just observe—they participate in a working model of how land can heal, produce, and connect.
Our Story: From Roots to Ripples
What began in 2010 with sustainable timber production evolved into a thriving organic spice farm, and now, into Bodha Gardens — a living mosaic of systems that honor biodiversity, restore soil, nourish communities, and offer visitors a chance to step into a different way of relating to the land.
Rob and Geri’s philosophy has always centered around doing things the right way, even when that way is slower, more complex, or less conventional. Over the years, this mindset has created ripples — through jobs, collaborations, supply chains, and now through educational experiences that aim to inspire visitors to carry these practices into their own lives.
Bodha Gardens represents a deepening of that mission: to not only cultivate food, timber, or botanical beauty, but to cultivate consciousness — through hands-on learning, immersive ecology, and the kind of inspiration that only comes from seeing, touching, and experiencing regenerative systems firsthand.
Sister Projects
Bodha Gardens builds on a strong foundation of proven, mission-driven work. These projects are not separate — they are branches of the same tree, each offering lessons and value that shape what we do today.

Looking Ahead
Bodha Gardens is the next natural step — a place where forestry, farming, and ecological education intersect to demonstrate what's possible when we listen to nature, invest in systems that last, and share what we’ve learned.
Through this space, Rob and Geri hope not only to continue growing sustainably, but also to broaden the ripple effect — inspiring every visitor, student, and collaborator to take a piece of the experience home with them, and begin planting their own legacy.

A Living Library of Rare, Regenerative, and Remarkable Plants
Opening by appointment in 2026
As part of our commitment to sharing knowledge and expanding access to regenerative systems, Bodha Gardens will host a specialized ornamental and agroecological nursery — offering a diverse selection of plants ideal for food forests, syntropic gardens, and home-scale ecosystems.
This is not just a nursery — it’s a living archive of years of trial, cultivation, and observation across our farms and forestry systems.
-
Our curated selection focuses on plants with purpose, beauty, and resilience, including:
Native Medicinals – Species selected for traditional healing, pollinator support, and forest restoration
Rare Tropical Ornamentals – Unique specimens collected from across the tropics for beauty, biodiversity, and conservation
Aromatic Plants – For teas, tinctures, essential oils, and sensory gardens
Syntropic-Friendly Species – Hardy, multipurpose plants that thrive in successional agroforestry systems — including nitrogen fixers, biomass producers, dynamic accumulators, and companions for staple crops
Food Forest Favorites – From fruit trees to perennial vegetables, herbs, vines, and support species for regenerative design
All plants are propagated and grown using organic, regenerative methods — without chemical inputs and with an emphasis on soil vitality, resilience, and biodiversity support.
-
Our nursery will be open to the public by appointment only, beginning in 2026. This allows us to offer more personalized support, guided tours for serious growers, and custom recommendations based on your project goals.
Whether you're starting your first syntropic system, expanding your home food forest, or looking for rare tropical ornamentals to enrich your land — we're excited to help you find the right plants for your place.
